Braman is the first town south of the Kansas line, which makes it the closest Oklahoma town we serve, a shorter run than several of the Wichita suburbs on this list. The one thing to sort out early is the license: a wedding held in Kansas needs a Kansas license, not an Oklahoma one.

Because the ceremony happens in Kansas, you need a Kansas license. An Oklahoma license from your home county will not work here, whatever it cost you. Any Kansas district court can issue one; the nearest to the property is the Sumner County District Court in Wellington.

The creek winds the length of the property. The pond sits at two acres, wide enough to hold the sky at sunset and close enough to the building that your photographer will not need a golf cart.
The rest is open prairie. Every venue within an hour of here is a room with a parking lot attached. This is land first. The building was sited to face it.
